The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Be safe while trick-or-treating: Carry glow sticks or flashlights, use reflective tape or stickers on costumes and bags, and wear light colors to help kids see and be seen by drivers.
Slow down and be alert! Kids are excited on Halloween and may dart into the street. Turn on headlights early in the day to spot kids from further away.
When selecting a costume, make sure it is the right size to prevent trips and falls. Choose face paint over masks when possible. Masks can limit children’s vision.

BJACH Reintroduces School-Based Behavioral Health Services to Support Military Families

As the 2025–2026 school year gets underway, Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital has reintroduced its school-based behavioral health program, placing an experienced clinical social worker inside Parkway Elementary School to provide direct care for military children. The initiative strengthens resilience and quality of life for Soldiers and Families—key components of Army readiness.

Army Nurse Reaches New Milestone with Doctorate in Executive Leadership
