Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Clinic
Welcome to the Department of Otolaryngology, also known as ENT (ear, nose and throat). We are located on the first floor of Bayne Jones hospital with the eye clinics but are a separate service from them. Otolaryngology deals with disease of the ears, hearing, nose, sinuses, throat, voice box, and head and neck. We are a surgical service offering surgical treatment of these disorders as well, when they are needed.
The ENT clinic consists of a physician and nurse, as well as an ENT technician. Our goal is to provide timely service and compassionate care for active duty service members, retirees, and dependents.
Otolaryngology is a unique field that deals with very specialized disease processes, which can be hard to understand. Below are links to some information that you may find useful. A complete examination by an ENT physician is required to accurately diagnose one of these problems if you feel that you suffer from them.

Sinusitis - infections and chronic inflammation of the sinuses can cause several symptoms. These usually include nasal congestion, facial pressure, and runny nose. Allergies can also make sinus problems worse. Strategies to improve sinuses include controlling allergies, rinsing out the sinuses with saline solutions, and in some cases antibiotics.
