Audiology Clinic
Bayne-Jones Army Community Hosptial’s Audiology Clinic provides audiologic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and hearing health education for active duty service members, retirees and dependents. Services provided include comprehensive diagnostic hearing testing, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, tinnitus evaluation and management, vestibular (dizzy) evaluations and rehabilitation therapy.
Retiree At-Cost Hearing Aid Program (RACHAP)
BJACH’s Audiology Clinic is pleased to offer the RACHAP program for all retired service members. Retirees from active duty, Guard and Reserve units who have hearing loss and/or tinnitus are eligible to participate in this program. Retired commissioned officers of the US Public Health Service are also eligible for this, under certain conditions.
The RACHAP program offers the most advanced digital hearing aids on the market at a significantly reduced cost! Exact costs are dependent on hearing aid style and advanced technology, and are always subject to change.
Travel costs are at the expense of the participant and typically 3-4 appointments can be expected to complete the process. Requirements include a diagnostic audiologic evaluation (to take place at the BJACH audiology clinic), medical clearance obtained by ENT physician, hearing aid evaluation/order, hearing aid fitting and follow-up appointments.

Veteran Assisted Listening Device Program (VALD)
To improve the quality of life in addition to hearing aids, the VALD offers a discount to all veterans and their family members for assistive listening devices. Some of these devices include personal amplifiers and TV listening devices.
