BJACH Rehab Department welcomes Red Cross summer volunteer

FORT POLK, La. — Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital Rehabilitation Department welcomed a new American Red Cross volunteer this summer. Christina McDonald, a member of the Crimson Tide Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Battalion and a kinesiology major from the University of Alabama, spent two weeks shadowing the physical therapists at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk, Louisiana.

BJACH hosts 355th AMSC annual training

FORT POLK, La. — The Joint Readiness Training Center is a force readiness platform and crucible combat training center for the Army. But Operations Group isn’t the only unit to get in on the training action at Fort Polk. Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital is a designated training facility currently hosting U.S. Army Nurse Corps Cadet clinical rotations, special operations medical personnel and the 355th Area Support Medical Company from Bossier City, Louisiana.
